Grants | Southern Connecticut State University A grant is a form of financial aid that is considered “free money” and therefore does not need to be repaid. Students must demonstrate financial need to be considered for the following grants. For all students, we award on the basis of full-time enrollment.

Matriculated undergraduates may qualify for Pell Grants ranging from $0 to $7,395 for both the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 federal aid years.
