## FY27 Cooperative Marketing & Advertising Grant Program The Cooperative Marketing & Advertising Program (CoOp) is a co-funded, co-branded marketing program aimed at growing New Mexico’s tourism economy together by utilizing the strength of the New Mexico True brand.
Through customized media strategies tailored to each awarded partner, the CoOp program guides participants through quality marketing and advertising initiatives that align with the New Mexico True brand in order to achieve effective, optimized results. Eligible entities for the Cooperative Marketing program include local and tribal governments as well as tourism-related non-profit organizations and attractions.
Eligible entities applying for funds for FY27(July 1, 2026- June 30, 2027) must have completed the online **CoOp Pre-Application****Survey**to ensure that we understand your goals and objectives. This survey is MANDATORY for program consideration/participation. **The survey and the application are now closed.
** **FY27 PROGRAM DATES & DEADLINES**: * **February 2-**CoOp Pre-Application Survey opens (MANDATORY for all applicants) * **February 27-**Deadline to complete survey * **March 10-**Application opens * **April 7-**Application closes **FY27 PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS**: * 2:1* Matching investment for all awarded MMP initiatives and up to a 2:1 match for all awarded Flex initiatives* * _*Confirmation of NMTD matching level pending outcomes of 2026 Legislative Session_ * Customized marketing menus based on your specific priorities and objectives * Additional digital advertising options, including travel attribution, integrated creative production, and more * New content creation opportunities for both organic social and paid media Through the program, our partners: * **ACHIEVE** greater media buying power by matching state dollars with your own marketing investments * **EXTEND** the power of New Mexico True with consistent brand standards and efficient production * **BENEFIT** from our commitment to meet a diverse range of goals and budgets through a Smart Select Marketing™ menu customized just for you * **GAIN** support through conscientious and expert service provided from strategy to implementation * **RECEIVE** performance reporting to measure impact, inform optimization, and summarize year-end results For **event-specific** technical assistance, marketing, and sponsorship opportunities, please refer to the Tourism Events Growth & Sustainability (TEGS) program.
