Supports state law enforcement agencies in states with high per capita rates of primary treatment admissions to locate or investigate illicit activities related to the distribution of heroin, fentanyl, or carfentanil.
Community Policing Development (CPD) Microgrants is a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice COPS Office that funds innovative law enforcement projects designed to advance community policing, including crime-fighting initiatives, community engagement strategies, and organizational improvements. The FY25 program focused on four areas: uplifting the image of the law enforcement profession, advancing crime fighting, strengthening problem solving, and promoting organizational change.
