Coral Gables Community Foundation Community Giving Program

Coral Gables Community Foundation Community Giving Program is a grant from the Coral Gables Community Foundation that funds nonprofit organizations addressing community needs within Coral Gables, Florida. The program supports projects falling within four focus areas: Social & Health Services, Historic Preservation & Environment, and related community priorities.

Organizations must submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) as the first step; selected applicants are then invited to submit a full application reviewed by the Community Giving Committee. Grants are one-year awards made exclusively to nonprofits. While the funded program must directly benefit the Coral Gables community, applicant organizations do not need to be headquartered in Coral Gables.

Programs selected for funding must benefit Coral Gables and fit within our four focus areas: • Social & Health Services • Historic Preservation & Environment Making a request for a grant starts by submitting a Letter of Inquiry (LOI). Organizations may submit more than one LOI. Selected LOI’s will be invited by the Community Foundation to submit a full application.

Full applications will be reviewed by the Community Giving Committee of the Community Foundation’s Board of Directors. Your program or project must directly benefit the Coral Gables community, however your organization does not need to be headquartered in Coral Gables. All grants are one-year grants.
