With our support, community based solutions don’t just survive—they thrive. Directed by Veteran filmmaker, Sean Mullin, Buzz is an inspiring feature documentary focusing on the beautiful life story of Buzz Aldrin. In active production, the film is expected to be released mid-2026.

Mullin is also known for the documentary Brothers on Three (released nationwide in 2025), and It Ain't Over (released in 2023). Adventures in Leadership is an innovative outdoor experiential program designed for kids and families. This unique initiative combines challenging outdoor activities with cutting-edge technology to foster essential leadership skills and personal growth.

The primary goal of Adventures in Leadership is to build the leaders of tomorrow by providing a unique blend of hands-on outdoor experiences, team-based challenges, exposure to diverse cultures and environments, and integration of modern technology in problem-solving. Adventure 72, empowered by Veterans Collaborative, is a transformative program designed to support the mental wellness of veterans through immersive nature experiences.

Backed by research demonstrating the benefits of nature and outdoor activities, the program focuses on spending a minimum of 72 hours in nature to help rewire the brain, reduce symptoms of PTS, and promote overall mental health. To highlight how communities can come together to serve Veterans. To promote mental wellness through nature-based activities.

To foster a sense of community and support among participating Veterans. To provide Veterans with tools and experiences that can be integrated into their daily lives for ongoing mental health benefits.

Valor Institute for Leadership and Legacy The Valor Institute for Leadership and Legacy helps Special Operations Forces, intelligence, and national security professionals, along with their spouses, intentionally navigate life's pivotal transitions by designing a clear, aligned, and purpose-driven future.

Your gift helps ensure that qualified military and veteran families can participate in the Valor Summit regardless of financial circumstance. Portraits for Patriots provides Gold Star Families with a commissioned portrait of their family member to hang in their home at no cost to the recipient. The purpose of the portrait is to aid them in the healing process and to help provide them with closure during their time of mourning.

The Taylor Foundation exists to raise money and awareness for local organizations that help treat or uplift members of the military and emergency service personnel who are dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder, otherwise known as PTSD.

Our aim is to restore the legacies of forgotten heroes and rectify the profound injustice faced by veterans whose records have been lost. Our mission requires a dedicated team committed to restoring honor to those unjustly forgotten. With more hands-on original documents, our chances of success multiply.

To honor and commemorate the indelible impact Coach Mike Mahan had on the Army Rugby program and players, The Army Rugby Team and the Army Rugby Advisory Committee (ARAC) are commissioning a stunning bust of Coach Mahan to be sculpted by renowned artist, Jim Nance.

This bust will rest permanently in the Anderson Rugby Complex at West Point for all to see for generations to come. Bridge & Banner supports military-connected students by ensuring a smooth academic transition from one school to the next. This project will support the military caregiver's ability to advocate for their student's academic success and support the student's continuity of education.

Bridge & Banner is a critical resource designed to identify a student's current skill progression, outline next steps of instruction for classroom teachers, and promote timely academic success for military-connected students, prekindergarten through fifth grade.

Before deployment, Anchor Circle offers a private pre-community with a matched buddy and practical mind, body, and sleep tools that are tailored to each individuals needs. During deployment, HomeFront Renewals offers in-person, multi-discipline retreats in the Hampton Roads area to restore calm, energy, and sleep.

After homecoming, The Steady Year keeps each retreat cohort together with an Anchor Guide who checks in, hosts small-group touch points, and ensures reintegration doesn’t happen alone.

US-Ukraine Veterans Bridge Educational Fund The US-Ukraine Veteran Bridge unites experts from the veteran community, academia, business, healthcare, labor, and others in the shared vision of building a better today and tomorrow for Ukrainian veterans, families, and survivors.

The Bridge connects Ukrainian and American veterans – through bonds of service and sacrifice – via knowledge-sharing, cultural exchange, and the encouragement of bilateral cooperation. Veterans Collaborative is proud to sponsor the 501(c)3 activities of the US-Ukraine Veteran Bridge Educational Fund.

There are students right now with the grades, the grit, and the drive to earn a place at a service academy or a ROTC program at a top university who have no idea those doors are open to them, or how to reach them. Academy X exists to close that distance. We're led by veterans who came up through these institutions themselves.

Friends of the Veterans Memorial Commission Museum The Friends of Veterans Memorial Commission Museum (FVMCM) is comprised of dedicated community volunteers who provide essential historical documentation and high-resolution visual assets to the Veterans Memorial Commission of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Reflecting the City of Cedar Rapids' profound historical reverence and commitment to its veterans, the FVMCM's mission is to bolster and enhance the Commission's efforts through the provision of photographic documentation and media materials dedicated to the Veterans Memorial Building and Veterans Memorial Park. The 850 Committee serves the veteran population of North Central West Virginia.

Over 21,000 veterans reside across seven counties - Preston, Monongalia, Marion, Harrison, Taylor, Wood, and surrounding areas - and our programs are designed to meet them where they are. Our first initiative is Veteran Momentum, a program promoting health, wellness, and physical activity for veterans through organized recreational sports such as our community softball team.

Additional programs are planned as support and community engagement grow. By combining authentic storytelling with measurable impact, TORPEDO aims to shift the narrative around veteran reintegration—highlighting strength, capability, and purpose—while creating scalable models for healing, connection, and continued service. The Nicholas G. Xiarhos Memorial Foundation The mission of the Nicholas G.

Xiarhos Memorial Foundation is to honor the life, service, and sacrifice of U.S. Marine Nicholas G. Xiarhos by supporting those who serve and strengthening the communities they protect. Through charitable giving, community engagement, and support for public safety personnel, gold star families, veterans, and their families, the foundation is committed to carrying forward Nick’s legacy of courage, selfless service, and love of others.

We exist to ensure that his sacrifice is never forgotten and that his spirit continues to inspire acts of service, kindness, and commitment to something greater than oneself.

A Common Virtue is a veteran-led historical preservation and oral-history project dedicated to documenting and preserving the firsthand experiences, photographs, documents, and service history of the Marines and Corpsmen of Mike Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines, during the Vietnam War.

The project preserves individual human stories while placing them within accurate unit, operational, and historical context for families, veterans, Marines, students, researchers, and the public. Vets On Set is dedicated to empowering veterans by connecting them with job opportunities in film, television, live events, and sports production.

While we focus on practical training and education, we do not operate as a traditional school or university. Instead, we function as a job program that leverages the expertise of active industry professionals to help veterans transition from educational backgrounds or other professions into successful careers on set or with our production partners.

Founded in 2011 by Dave Rosen and his Navy veteran father, Roy Rosen, Vets On Set has consistently upheld core principles centered around support and development for veterans. Veterans Group of San Quentin The mission of the Veterans Group of San Quentin (VGSQ) is to help incarcerated Veterans of the United States Armed Forces, and/or their family members, to assimilate back into society as constructive and productive citizens.

To accomplish our mission, we offer all of the personnel assistance, guidance and support at our membership’s disposal through the promotion of educational, pro-social, and recreational activities cultured toward the military way of life. VGSQ has three primary project areas: 1) Veterans in Camaraderie provides opportunities for Veterans to support one another as Veterans.

2) Veterans in Community gives Veterans an opportunity to open up this sense of camaraderie to the larger San Quentin community. 3) Veterans in Service provides the members of VGSQ a chance to continue their ethic of service through service projects including a food bank and an annual toy drive.

VGSQ not only supports and uplifts the Veterans who are incarcerated, but it also provides an avenue for all residents to develop service opportunities and spread uplift to others.

The moments of camaraderie serve VGSQ Veterans, but moreover, these become opportunities for the Veterans to share that camaraderie, service, appreciation, gratitude, community, teamwork, and professional skills as they organize and share these opportunities with others. The Pleiades: SOF Spouse Sisterhood The mission of The Pleiades: SOF Spouse Sisterhood is to honor and uplift the spouses of Special Operations service members by closing the gap between their immense sacrifices and the holistic healthcare, resources, and community support they both need and deserve.

We bring this mission to life by providing access to essential medical and wellness interventions, and by connecting spouses with specialized services designed for their unique journeys. Through our inclusive network of veteran spouse mentors, we offer a safe and understanding space where spouses can find guidance, solidarity, and meaningful connection.

Recognizing the distinct challenges faced by the Special Operations spouse community, we foster connection and healing by sharing our stories on podcasts, online support groups, and direct access to caring staff members.

Our quarterly in-person gatherings create a restorative environment where spouses can meet trusted service providers, nurture their wellbeing, and form lifelong bonds within a community that deeply understands their journey. Line of Dignity exists to restore dignity, safety, and agency to service members impacted by sexual assault.

We provide confidential, survivor-centered support outside of command structures, including limited emergency financial assistance, access to trauma-informed care, and the development of education and micro-scholarship opportunities to help survivors rebuild stability and opportunity.

QRF Service Member Initiative The QRF Service Member Initiative is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing immediate intervention for soldiers experiencing suicidal thoughts or self-harm tendencies. Our mission is to establish a rapid response team that can reach at-risk soldiers within an hour, offering immediate emotional support, crisis intervention, and access to necessary resources.

By leveraging a network of trained professionals and volunteers, we aim to reduce suicide rates among active-duty and veteran military personnel, ensuring they receive the care and guidance they need. Families at Formation is dedicated to supporting Airmen during a critical milestone by ensuring their loved ones can attend Basic Military Training graduation.

We provide financial assistance to family members with demonstrated need, bridging the cost of travel to Lackland Air Force Base. Because no service member should face this defining moment alone, we strive to foster a culture of familial support that honors their commitment and service.

Our mission is to produce, distribute, and market a 25th-anniversary documentary honoring Band of Brothers, preserving the legacy of Easy Company and the World War II generation while reminding audiences of the true cost of freedom.

Through interviews with the cast and creators, returning to the battlefields of World War II, and conversations with today’s active-duty soldiers who carry the same lineage, the film connects past and present through the enduring values of service, leadership, and sacrifice. By bringing these stories together, we aim to ensure that the legacy of Easy Company is not only remembered, but carried forward by future generations.

True North Leadership Academy True North Leadership Academy (TNLA) is a veteran-led youth leadership development program based in Colorado Springs. The program provides structured leadership education, mentorship, and supervised real-world application for middle and high school students.

TNLA translates military leadership principles—discipline, accountability, service, teamwork, and character, into age-appropriate youth development experiences. The program serves a diverse student population, including military-connected youth, by providing consistent mentorship, accountability, and leadership development during critical transition years.

Veterans in Frame is dedicated to expanding meaningful workforce development opportunities for Veterans in the film and television industry by working with entertainment developed by Military Movies production company.

We actively recruit, hire, and support Veterans in apprenticeship and entry-level roles, recognizing the unique leadership, discipline, adaptability, and teamwork they bring to both creative and technical roles across production. This is particularly true given the targeted genre of our films, which are uniquely suited for Veterans to contribute.

Given the company mission of telling authentic films celebrating the character & courage of our military, we look forward to being a gateway for veterans to continue their service in the entertainment industry. The mission of the Home Integrity Project is to protect the health, safety, and independence of veterans by providing free environmental testing and home safety assessments.

We identify and help mitigate hidden hazards—such as mold, radon, unsafe water, and fall risks—that can worsen PTSD, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), respiratory illnesses, and mobility challenges.

Veteran Performance Accelerator The mission of Veteran Performance Accelerator is to empower junior enlisted transitioning Veterans with the tools, support, and community they need to navigate identity shifts, build meaningful relationships, manage career uncertainty, strengthen family stability, and successfully reintegrate into civilian life.

Through workshops, mentorship, peer support, and immersive learning, they help transitioning service members thrive. Service Leadership Council Service Leadership Council (SLC) brings together the Veteran Community of Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia at the Tower Club Tysons to promote growth and success for local communities, organizations, and professionals.

This program is designed for service-focused leaders wanting career development, strong connections, and community engagement. SLC will host Quarterly Flagship Forums, where senior leaders focused on national security, economic competitiveness, and leadership will conduct moderated discussions, as well as an Executive Fireside Series, Opportunity Roundtables and Thought Leadership Showcases.

Vines for Vets is an artist-led giving initiative that honors disabled and medically vulnerable veterans through handcrafted ceramic vessels paired with living plants. Each vessel is personally designed, hand-thrown, fired, planted, and prepared by the founder, emphasizing care, intention, and dignity rather than scale or mass production.

Funds raised support studio equipment, materials, firing costs, plants, and safe regional shipping or delivery. The program does not provide clinical services, but instead offers tangible expressions of gratitude and recognition to veterans whose ongoing sacrifices are often unseen.

VCG Foundation's mission is to ensure no veteran is left behind by providing critical housing assistance and educational pathways that empower veterans and their families to successfully transition back to civilian life.

Born from the firsthand understanding that the transition from the battlefield to the boardroom is often the hardest mission a soldier faces, VCG Foundation is a community-led, veteran-operated organization dedicated to total reintegration — turning service into lasting success.

Veteran Strong Foundation of Northern Nevada The mission of the Veteran Strong Foundation of Northern Nevada is to empower the veteran community through a dual-track approach of vocational advancement and social connection.

We provide veterans with high-demand technical certifications—including OSHA, NFPA 70E, and AHA credentials—to secure immediate career placement and wage growth, while fostering resilience through monthly morale-boosting events that keep our local veteran network connected and supported.

Military Family Building Coalition The Military Family Building Coalition's mission is to ensure that all active-duty service members have the resources and support to build the families they want, regardless of their deployment schedules, fertility challenges, or financial situations. They advocate for a future where military healthcare fully covers the costs of reproductive assistance and adoption.
