Corporate Social Responsibility at ARAG Corporate Social Responsibility For the past 50 years, ARAG has cared about our community. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee is driven by a simple belief: our impact should extend beyond the workplace.
To support this, our committee provides grant opportunities, sponsors volunteer events throughout the year, offers 16 hours of volunteer time off and matches eligible charitable donations up to $500 annually. ARAG focuses its charitable giving on the causes that matter most to our team members.
We determine annual gifts within four giving pillars: Access to Justice, The Future of Our Youth, Strengthening Our Communities, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. Each ARAG team member receives 16 hours of Volunteer Time Off annually to donate sweat equity and thought leadership toward causes that they care about. Our CSR Committee also helps coordinate group volunteer initiatives throughout the year.
The passions of our team members matter to us so we are happy to double their impact by matching any financial contribution to a charitable organization, up to $500 annually. We welcome applications from 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations for our 2026 grant cycle. Our funding focuses on direct programming in Central Iowa focused on our pillars of giving.

We realize that the youth are the hope for a greater tomorrow. We focus our support on organizations creating improved paths and outcomes for the children of Central Iowa. Strengthening Our Communities This pillar is dedicated to the basic needs of our communities: shelter, food and disaster recovery.
We also give special priority to efforts focusing on mental health. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Contributing to the advancement of equality and opportunities for marginalized communities based on race, gender, sexual orientation and ability. The SCI Youth Grant Pitch Contest is a competitive program from Social Capital Inc. that funds youth-led community improvement projects in Greater Boston. Teams of high school students in grades 9 through 12 residing in Essex, Middlesex, Norfolk, or Suffolk counties develop project ideas through coaching from local professionals, then pitch their proposals to a live panel of judges. The System Innovations Grant (Youth Opportunities Fund) is a multi-year funding opportunity from the Ontario Trillium Foundation that supports collaborative projects working to understand and strengthen systems so they function better for young people. Grants of up to $1,250,000 over five years fund collaboratives of two or more Ontario-based nonprofits aiming to create lasting systemic change that expands opportunities for youth ages 12 to 29, with a particular emphasis on Indigenous, Black, and other racialized youth facing systemic barriers. Eligible applicants are not-for-profit organizations incorporated for at least five years in Ontario with a mandate to serve youth, forming a formal collaborative.
