Past awardees include food banks, search and rescue units, human service organizations, farmers markets, youth service organizations, and many more! Community Service Operating grants can be awarded to any non-profit or local government to help further community needs.
Veterans Service Organization Grants Veterans Service Organization grants can be awarded to any veterans’ services organization. This includes organizations or programs that serve the families of veterans, as well as active-duty military and their families. Food Security grants can be awarded to food banks, meals programs, senior center, and other community organizations who support food security in King County.
Local Solutions grants can be awarded to city or county-level government agencies, unincorporated areas, tribes, or community-based organizations that support food security, housing stability, behavioral health care, and other efforts to support an individual's connection or engagement in their community.
Get Active, Stay Active Grants Get Active Stay Active grants can be awarded to organizations who provide youth and amateur sports and fitness programs, or organizations who support programs for senior residents. Funding can be used for program implementation costs, such as coaching or space rentals, camp and program fee scholarships, athletic and fitness equipment, or capital projects.
