The foundation recognizes that not all individuals have access to the resources or support needed to lead lives of independence and dignity. Whether resulting from economic disparities, racial or gender prejudice, substance abuse or any other number of reasons, people often need a helping hand.
This means not only helping those who are underprivileged, but also those who may not have the resources to afford basic necessities without help.
