Review the Round 2 Final Guidelines , Submittable Instructions , Amended Notice of Funding Availability, and read this webpage in its entirety for before starting a CRC application. Please note that the Notice of Funding Availability has been amended as of August 31, 2026. The due date for Implementation Grant applications is now September 30, 2026.

This is the only change to the Notice of Funding Availability. *Important note: The Planning Grant and Implementation Grant Application Checklist and Question Preview documents (provided below) are meant to provide a general overview of the approximate content of the CRC application.

Do not rely on a preview to develop your responses and application materials, as it may have differences and omissions from the actual application in Submittable. SGC will only accept applications that have been completed in Submittable. All applications must be completed in and submitted via the online application platform, Submittable.

Access the application in Submittable under the grant type sections below. Before beginning an application in Submittable, review the Submittable Instructions . For certain application components, applicants must download templates linked in Submittable, fill them out, and upload them to Submittable.

Implementation Grant Applications are due on September 30, 2026 at 11:59 pm , Pacific Time.

Notice of Revisions to the Implementation Grant Application: The due date for the Implementation Grant Application has been amended to September 30, 2026 to accommodate observance of California Native American Day. This due date is reflected in the Amended Notice of Funding Availability, updated August 31, 2026.

The Implementation Grant Application and the Prior Community Engagement Worksheet have been revised in Submittable as of July 23, 2026 . Revisions were made to Question 6. 4.

Prior Community Engagement Worksheet , to expand the timeframe for community engagement activities to report in the Community Engagement Worksheet from “occurred within the last 3 months” to “occurred within the last five years”. These changes are reflected within the Submittable application, the Prior Community Engagement Worksheet, and the Implementation Grant Application Checklist and Questions Preview.

The revised form will automatically update for all applicants who have started a draft submission. Draft responses will not be affected by the updated form. Applicants actively working in the Submittable application when changes are made, will receive a pop up at the top of their screen instructing them to refresh their page.

Once refreshed, all draft responses will remain.
