Creative Aging | Utah Division of Arts & Museums Our Creative Aging program fosters a network of cultural organizations, senior service organizations, libraries, and artists who are trained in creative aging best practices. Utah Division of Arts & Museums is happy to provide a grant to support Creative Aging in our state.
This grant is available to organizations or artists who participated in the Lifetime Arts 'Foundations' or 'Essentials' training. Funding Request: Up to $3,000 Project Timeline: November 2025 - June 1, 2026 Informational Webinar : We held an informational webinar on Aug. 11th to answer questions about this grant.

Kaleidoscope Festival - Aging with the Creative Spirit August 30 - September 13, 2025 Utah Division of Arts & Museums is happy to support the Utah Creative Aging Coalition in the launch of their Kaleidoscope Festival. This two-week celebration will bring arts-based experiences to older adults across the state, highlighting their creativity and the power of art in later life. The festival kicks off on Saturday, Aug.
30, with a vibrant celebration at the Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center in Taylorsville, featuring interactive classes, dynamic performances, and inspiring exhibitions. Creative Aging Impact Report - 2021-2022 Leveraging State Investments in Creative Aging In 2021 the Utah Division of Arts & Museums received a grant from the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies , in collaboration with E. A. Michelson Philanthropy , to support Creative Aging.
We established a 3-year grant program to encourage sequential creative aging classes taught by professional artists that focused on adults 55+. Utah's project was called "A Lifetime of Arts Elevated" and more information can be found here .
