ca Export Development Stream — Creative Export Canada The Export Development Stream (EDS) of the Creative Export Canada (CEC) program offers funding in the form of grants and contributions for: new and early-stage exporters to build capacity and expand into international markets seasoned exporters to expand into new international markets and build business networks The Stream is highly competitive, with only a limited number of projects funded each year.
We strongly recommend that you read the Application Guidelines in their entirety before applying. The program will host webinars to provide tips on submitting your application to the EDS.
Webinars will take place: in English : Tuesday, June 16 at 1:30 (ET) Register for the English webinar in French : Thursday June 18 at 1:30 (ET) Register for the French webinar To be eligible for funding, a company/organization must meet all of the following requirements: be incorporated under the laws of Canada, a province or a territory be a for-profit company or not-for-profit organization be Canadian-owned and -controlled have a maximum of $10 million in annual revenues in the current or previous fiscal year have at least 1 full-time employee (who receives a salary and works at least 30 hours a week) which can include the owner if they receive a salary.
You can submit only 1 application per deadline, including entities or subsidiaries of a parent company. Full eligibility criteria are detailed in the Application Guidelines . The application deadline for projects with expenses occurring between April 1, 2026, and March 31, 2027, is July 8, 2026.
