Creative Export Canada - Canada. ca The Creative Export Canada (CEC) program, which is part of the Creative Export Strategy , provides visibility and funding to help Canadian creative works achieve financial success abroad. CEC aims to heighten exposure of Canadian creative works in international markets and to increase export revenues for Canada’s creative industries.
The CEC program’s annual funding envelope is $14 million and is divided into two funding streams: the Export-Ready Stream and the Export Development Stream. The Export-Ready Stream supports export-ready projects that are expected to generate export revenues and help Canadian creative industries reach more people around the world.
The deadline for submitting a funding application for projects with expenses occurring between April 1, 2026 and March 31, 2027, is June 10, 2026. The next period for submitting a funding application for projects with expenses starting on April 1, 2027 will be announced in fall 2026.
Export Development Stream The Export Development Stream supports new and early-stage exporters entering international markets and experienced exporters expanding their global networks. The period for submitting a funding application for projects with expenses occurring between April 1, 2026 and March 31, 2027 is July 8, 2026.
