Due to the limited funding available, we were only able to fund 200 artists. All submissions were reviewed through an independent and rigorous panel process. Panelists represented a diverse range of expertise and perspectives and they approached their reviews with professionalism, care, and thoughtful consideration.
Top scoring applications were entered into a lottery process, where 200 submissions were randomly chosen. Funding Period: September 1, 2025 – August 31, 2026. At this moment, there are no plans for a second round.
About the Program: The Creative Growth Fellowship program offers a stipend for artists living within the City of Sacramento. The program supports 200 artists with $850 monthly payments over the course of 12 months. These payments provide financial support for artists to pursue and advance their career in the arts.
