illinois. gov/granting-opportunities/grants-programs. html#) - [x] Display in Descending Order * Creative Learning Grants for SchoolsThe Arts & Foreign Language (AFL) Grant is to support arts and foreign language education in schools, with an emphasis on ensuring that these areas become part of the school’s core curriculum.
Funding is available for each area for up to four years, with one year of planning and three years of implementation. * Creative Projects GrantCreative Projects Grants (CPG) are available to Illinois artists and non-profit organizations that provide arts programming and have unique arts projects that needs financial support.
If an organizational applicant receives GOS support this programming must be outside of regular operational needs. * Creative Accelerator FundThe Creative Accelerator Fund (CAF) provides holistic support to Illinois artists. A primary goal of the program is to bolster a creative workforce that composes a significant portion of Illinois’ creative and economic activity.
* Folk Arts Mentorship ProgramThe Folk Arts Mentorship (FAM) Program is designed to support a mentoring relationship between an established traditional artist and apprentice that concludes with a free public presentation of achievements made by the apprentice during the apprenticeship period.
* General Operating SupportGeneral Operating Support (GOS) Grants are available for Illinois non-profit organizations that provide ongoing arts programming. Youth Employment in the Arts (YEA) Grants provide funds to GOS grantees for individuals between the ages of 14-22.
* Regional Arts PartnersThe Regional Arts Partners (RAP) Program creates a partnership between the Illinois Arts Council (IAC) and IAC-designated organizations by providing funds to expand local mechanisms that encourage and support developing arts programs throughout the organization’s service area.
Based on the assessment and perception of local needs, the RAP Program’s regranting funds make it possible for designated RAP partners to develop grantsmaking processes that are responsive to their service area.
