Giving Oklahomans a brighter tomorrow. The mission of the Cresap Family Foundation is to further the philanthropic legacy of the Cresap Family by improving the quality of life of Oklahomans and beyond. The Foundation’s areas of emphasis are youth and families, health and wellness, education, arts and humanities and animal welfare.
Funding preference will be given to organizations in areas where Premium Beers operated, including, and without limitation, central Oklahoma, and the following counties in Northeast Oklahoma: Craig, Delaware, Mayes, Nowata, Osage, Ottawa, and Washington. This is a strong preference but is not mandatory. About Us Family owned and operated.
Denny, Gail and John Cresap established the foundation following the sale of the family’s business, Premium Beers of Oklahoma, one of the largest Anheuser-Busch distributorships in the country. A desire to give back to the communities that had supported Premium Beers of Oklahoma for 44 years resulted in the foundation’s creation.
Including its 2025 grant-making activities, the Cresap Family Foundation has given over $15 million to Oklahoma nonprofits since its founding in 2012. The Details See exactly how we accomplish our goals. We use this step help prioritize the grants that the family has a serious desire to fund.
The application is web based and user friendly throughout the entire process. We ask organizations to make a full application detailing financial information, board governance and program description. The board reviews these applications at their Fall meeting and makes funding decisions.
We make a point to get in touch with everyone with feedback about granting decisions. In addition to the follow up report assigned in the online grantmaking software, nonprofits who receive grant dollars should expect a site visit. The purpose of the site visit is to show the Directors of the Foundation the great work your nonprofits are doing.
