Customers facing a temporary financial hardship may qualify for up to $1,000 in bill assistance through APS partners like Wildfire, Chicanos Por La Causa, and Maricopa County Human Services.

Customers facing a temporary financial hardship may qualify for up to $1,000 in bill assistance through our partners like Wildfire, Chicanos Por La Causa, and Maricopa County Human Services. Customers may qualify for up to 25% or 60% discount on their monthly energy bill based on household income.

And if you have a SNAP benefits card, it can be used to enroll more quickly in our Energy Support program (up to 25% bill discount) without having to provide your household income. Customers can receive up to $500 in bill assistance in partnership with The Salvation Army, regardless of income. To expand this donation program, we are matching the total of all contributions made – up to $500,000 – January 1 through December 31, 2026.

Energy Support with Medical Program Customers with life-threatening illnesses or using medical equipment in their home may qualify for up to 35% or 60% discount on their monthly energy bill based on household income.

Limited income homeowners may qualify for financial help to fix or replace broken air conditioner units through our partners: AllThrive365 covers La Paz, Maricopa, Pinal, Yavapai, or Yuma counties; and Wildfire’s program covers all of Arizona. Eviction Prevention Support Customers facing a housing crisis may qualify for assistance through our partner St. Vincent de Paul to help them stay safe in their homes.

A Payment Arrangement gives you more flexibility to pay your past-due amount while keeping up with your current energy bills. The Low-Income Housing Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) works with Community Action Programs (CAPs) and other local providers to lower energy costs for those struggling to pay their energy bills. Power AZ is a state program that expands access to utility assistance to Arizona households with an income of up to 100% State Median Income (SMI). Power AZ eligibility requirements are consistent with the LIHEAP program, except that households with income exceeding LIHEAP requirements may qualify. Learn more .

If you or someone you know needs help managing their APS account, assign a Guest Role. With three types of account access , you can choose the access level that works best for you. Guests aren’t financially responsible for the account, but they can help keep an eye on it.

Qualified customers who have a life-threatening illness or use essential critical medical equipment that requires electricity can receive notifications to help them better prepare for an outage. Stay Cool with Heat-Relief Programs Arizona summers bring high temperatures that put families without reliable housing or air conditioning at risk.

We've partnered with local organizations to provide heat relief assistance to our most vulnerable customers. In addition, our outage map now offers quick access to information about cooling centers locations under the shelter icon. Emergency Shelter & Eviction Prevention In partnership with St.

Vincent de Paul, APS will help ensure families can find safe shelter through eviction-prevention assistance or emergency community housing. Hydration, Cooling & Respite Centers Enjoy cool air, free water and a safe place to rest at one of the many sites throughout the state.
