INDOT: Crossing Closure Grant The Indiana State Legislature established the Railroad Grade Crossing Fund (RRGCF) (I. C. 8-6-7.
7-6. 1) to provide funding for railroad-highway crossing safety improvements throughout Indiana. The Crossing Closure Grant Program is a part of this fund.
Local Public Agencies can receive an award to permanently close a railroad crossing within their community. Applications are accepted year-round for this program. Crossing closure applications are accepted all year.
