CSF Research Grants is sponsored by Cosmetic Surgery Foundation. CSF Research Grants is a grant from the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation that funds original research in cosmetic surgery and related fields.

Apply for CSF Research Grant - 2026 Cosmetic Surgery Foundation The Cosmetic Surgery Foundation (CSF) is pleased to announce its 2026 Call for Research Grant Applications. The CSF Research Grants are in the amount of $2,000. All monies are to be spent and the project completed within 12 months.

Half of the grant money is provided in December 2025. The other half is provided in June 2026, but only after the mid-term progress report is received. The final report is due November 14, 2026.

Grant recipients are expected to submit an abstract of their study for the 2027 AACS Annual Scientific Meeting. Grant recipients are also expected to submit a manuscript of their study for publication in the American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery . All research grant applications are rated and selected by the CSF Board of Directors.

Grant recipients will be recognized with certificates at the AACS Annual Business Meeting at the 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting.

Applications without a signed agreement form will not be considered. A Research Grant Proposal will be uploaded to the application as one pdf. The electronic file should be named as follows: [last name]_[first name]_[year]_CSF_Grant_Application .

The document must include: Title of Research Project Other Research Team Members, if applicable Project Aims: What do you intend to accomplish? What hypothesis is to be tested? Importance: Why is the research important?

Evaluate existing knowledge in the field and specifically identify the possible contributions that your investigation may make. Preliminary Studies: What has already been done in thisfield? Experimental Design: How are you going to accomplish the research?

Describe the experimental design, the procedures to be used, and the manner in which the data will be analyzed. Do not include established laboratory procedures. IRB or Ethics Committee Approval: Indicate if your study has been reviewed and approved by an IRB or Ethics Committee.

If so, include approval letter. (See Dr. Jane Petro’s article for more information about IRBs.) Background: Please describe the organizational structure in which the research will be carried out and include a supporting letter from the sponsor/preceptor/program director describing the nature of the linkage to a division or department.

Include professional background and/or academic affiliation. Disclosures: If applicable, include any relevant financial disclosures. Budget: Create a line-item budget specific to the amount of funding you are requesting.

The Applicant represents, warrants, and agrees that: - The information provided in this application is true and correct. - If the Applicant is awarded a grant, it will be used exclusively for educational and scientific purposes related to cosmetic surgery and specifically for the research proposal identified in this Application.

- There is no guarantee the Applicant will be awarded a Grant. Grants are awarded at the discretion of the CSF in furtherance of its exempt purposes. - If Applicant is awarded a Grant, the Applicant shall provide an interim progress report sixmonths (180 days) after receipt of a grant. Research must be completed within a year after receipt of a grant and final report and budget submitted to headquarters. - Unused funds must be returned to CSF along with a written reason why funds were not used and/or project was not completed.

Applicant will present their research and data at the 2027 AACS Annual Scientific Meeting. - Give first right to publish the study will be to The American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery. AACS/CSF will be acknowledged when publishing or presenting results of CSF/AACS funded research and notify CSF of final publishing.
