CRPS administers internship programs that provide work experience with NPS units, programs, and other federal agencies. Interns' work varies from historical research and surveys for National Register documentation to archeological investigations, records, archives, and museum management. Paid internships are located across the country and are offered year-round.

Student status and age restrictions vary between programs.
All internships in every CRPS Youth Employment Program are paid. Stipends vary between programs. Additional benefits may include a housing/travel stipend and training opportunities.
Interns may be eligible for the Public Land Corps Hiring Authority upon completion of their internship. Individual placements provide exposure to careers and different work environments, as well as opportunities to develop skillsets. When are the internships?
