Customized Job Training (Discontinued)

Nebraska Customized Job-Training Advantage is sponsored by State of Nebraska (administered by local workforce development boards/agencies like OPPD). This program provides a flexible and discretionary job-training program that offers financial incentives per job, depending on the financial investment, number of jobs being created, types of jobs, training being provided and by whom, and geographic considerations.

Local Assistance is a program from Nebraska's Local Assistance Division within the Department of Transportation that funds local transportation infrastructure projects across Nebraska. The division supports Local Public Agencies in maintaining transportation assets by overseeing federal and state funds on behalf of those agencies in accordance with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) requirements. Supported activities include highway, bridge, pedestrian, bicycle infrastructure, and transit projects. Eligible applicants are Nebraska local public agencies, municipalities, and counties. The division also provides consultant services, design support, and technical guidance. Nebraska Child Care Workforce Stipend and Loan Repayment Grants are administered by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services through the Child Care and Development Fund to strengthen the state's child care workforce and expand access to quality care. The program includes multiple grant tracks: the Restoration Enhancement Program (REP) helps licensed providers improve facilities and equipment; the Technology Access Program (TAP) funds technology upgrades for child care programs; the Child Care Stabilization Grant supports operational sustainability; and Business and Child Care Partnership Grants assist new and expanding licensed child care programs. Eligible applicants are Nebraska-licensed and provisionally licensed child care providers currently in good standing.
