Cybersecurity & Technology Cybersecurity & Technology State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP) Protect Your Municipality with SLCGP Funding—Apply by January 30, 2026! Cyber incidents are on the rise across Wisconsin, impacting municipalities of all sizes.
The State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP) is designed to help you strengthen your cyber defenses. For this round of funding, Wisconsin is covering 100% of eligible cybersecurity costs up to $100,000 for 15 months. Plus, every Wisconsin municipality approved for SLCGP funding will receive up to $5,000 from the National League of Cities Risk Information Sharing Consortium (NLC RISC) and NLC Mutual to offset onboarding costs.
The application deadline is January 30, 2026, with awards anticipated in April 2026 . You can apply directly through Egrants or the League of Wisconsin Municipalities. To streamline the process, VC3 (our endorsed IT service provider) can help you process your grant application, ensure technical and financial accuracy, and work with state agencies.
