This APS will have at least two reviews for proposals, with the first expected to take place in March 2009. Proposals to be considered for the first round must be submitted by February 28, 2009. Additional submission dates will be determined after the deadline for the first submission.

Current Closing Date for Applications:Oct 31, 2009 Subject to the availability of funds, USAID intends to make up to 12 awards in the range of $2,000,000 to $5,000,000 with a length of activity period between two and five years. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, beginning in May. Proposals to be considered for the first round must be submitted by April 20, 2009.

All applications must be submitted by October 31, 2009. USAID reserves the right to fund any or none of the applications submitted.

This APS provides prospective recipients with an opportunity to develop and submit applications for U.S. Agency of International Development (USAID) funding in the area of Economic Growth focused on increasing food security. This APS describes the strategy, the APS application process, the criteria for evaluating applications, and information on administration of awards and point of contract.
