Day 1 Families Fund is sponsored by Bezos Day 1 Families Fund. The Day 1 Families Fund awards grants to organizations working to address homelessness, particularly focusing on families with children, to help them regain stable housing through diversion and rapid rehousing.

Day 1 Families Fund - Bezos Day One Fund The Bezos Day 1 Families Fund issues annual leadership awards to organizations and civic groups doing compassionate, needle-moving work to help families experiencing homelessness—including those who are unsheltered or staying in shelters—regain safe, stable housing and achieve well-being. The vision statement comes from the inspiring Mary’s Place in Seattle: no child sleeps outside.

Since 2018, the Day 1 Families Fund has issued 280 leadership awards totaling more than $850 million to organizations in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Guam. See stories of how Day 1 Families Fund grantees are making a tremendous impact in their communities.
