DCCF Community Grants | Douglas County Community Foundation Our Community Grants support a wide range of local projects in the areas of arts and culture, animal welfare, children and youth, community development, education, environment, health, housing and human services. Click here for a list of recent grants The application for the Fall 2026 cycle of Community Grants will open August 1.
The deadline for submitting grants is Tuesday, September 1 at 5:00PM CST. The application for the Spring 2026 cycle of Community Grants is now closed. The deadline for submitting grants was Monday, February 2, at 5:00PM CST.
Check back for Spring 2027 cycle dates. There is a spring and fall cycle each year, and generally the deadline will be on or around February 1 and September 1 at 5:00 PM. If the first falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline will be the next business day.
Organizations may apply only once per calendar year regardless of whether the previous grant request was funded or not . Applications are available on the DCCF Grant Management System . Applications may be submitted until 5:00 p.
m. on the due date. We strongly recommend that you submit your application before the due date.
Staff may not be available to respond on the due date. Applications that have not been successfully submitted by the deadline will be considered ineligible. All 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, tribal entities and local governments may apply.
Work must benefit residents of Douglas County, Kansas. Organizations must conduct business without discrimination on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability or national origin.
