The program’s virtual Scripted Lab will run from November 17-20, offering fellows the opportunity to hone their pitches, attend master classes led by industry veterans, and expand their network of fellow producers. For over a decade, the Work In Progress initiative has served as an essential platform for developing and internationalizing cinema with identity.

Driven in partnership with the University of Guadalajara Foundation USA, WIP LATINO supports Latino, Latin American, and U.S.-based BIPOC filmmakers in bringing their stories to global screens. Rideback RISE is soliciting applications for the fourth year of the Rideback RISE Fellowship . Based in Los Angeles, Rideback RISE is a prestigious creator and content accelerator that offers visionary, intersectional film and television storytellers (“Fellows”) a substantial economic stipend, as well as access to development funds for the purpose of optioning IP and/or creating visual proof-of-concept materials.

The 12-month Fellowship provides expert one-to-one mentoring and programming year-round, as well as resources and benefits to support Fellows as they each develop and refine a specific television or feature film project before it is taken out to market. The Ryan Hudak LGBTQ+ Dramatic Writing Award is open to New York State playwrights and screenwriters, including those who live within the five boroughs of New York City. Submit by the deadline on June 16 . ACE Internship applications close June 30 .

The program has two main parts: A week-long lecture series, conducted over Zoom and in person, designed to introduce participants to the workflow, etiquette, and job options available in post-production. This series is slated to take place during late September/early October 2026. The other component is a four-week, paid internship for two chosen ACE interns.
