The Delaware EDGE Grant Program is a grant from the Delaware Division of Small Businesses that funds small businesses seeking to expand viability and sustainability through a competitive pitch program. Two tracks are available: the Entrepreneur track offers up to $400,000 total, and the STEM track offers up to $750,000 total, split among category winners.
Funds follow a 3:1 state-to-business match and may be used for market analysis, infrastructure improvements, lab space rent, or cosmetic enhancements. Eligible applicants must be majority-located in Delaware, in business less than 7 years, have 15 or fewer full-time employees, and hold less than $700,000 in assets. Finalists also receive post-pitch in-kind services and support.

There are nine Entrepreneur category finalists and eight STEM category finalists. One hundred twenty-three individuals applied for this round of EDGE, the thirteenth since the program’s launch.

STEM (Science/technology/engineering/math)-based companies and Entrepreneur Class (non-STEM) businesses are eligible for funding. The funds are provided as a $3 (state) to $1 (business) match.
