Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance Number: U.S. Department of Agriculture, USDA Rural Development Rural Development State Offices The Delta Health Care Services Grant Program is designed to provide financial assistance to address the continued unmet health needs in the Delta Region through cooperation among healthcare professionals, institutions of higher education, research institutions, and other individuals and entities located in the Delta Region.
Grant funds may be used to finance the development and Health education programs Healthcare workforce training programs Public health-related facilities Eligible applicants include a 3 or more entity consortium of: Regional institutions of higher education Academic health and research institutes Economic development entities One member of the consortium must be designated as the lead entity by the other members of the consortium and have legal authority to contract with the federal Applicants must be located in and serve a state located Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee Award Ceiling: $1,000,000 Project period: Up to 24 months Estimated number of awards: 12 Total Funding Available: $6,000,000 Links to the full announcement, application instructions , and the online application process are available on grants.
