End of Life Care or Preventing Elder Neglect (Grant Cycle #1) Dementia Care and Brain Degenerative Diseases (Grant Cycle #2) Combating Social Isolation of Older Adults (Grant Cycle #3) 2027 Grant Cycle #1 : The LOI process, with a focus on supporting programs and projects related to End of Life Care and/or Addressing Elder Neglect , is now open and will remain open until Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 5pm ET .
Select LOI applicants will be invited to submit a full application in late October 2026. Grant awards are expected to be announced in February 2027. 2027 Grant Cycle #2 : The LOI process, with a focus on supporting programs and projects related to Dementia Care , will open on Monday, November 16, 2026 and will remain open until Thursday, December 17, 2026 at 5pm ET .
Select LOI applicants will be invited to submit a full application in early March 2027. Grant awards are expected to be announced in June 2027. 2027 Grant Cycle #3 : The LOI process, with a focus on supporting programs and projects related to Combating Social Isolation of Older Adults , will open on Thursday, March 18, 2027 and will remain open until Tuesday, April 20, 2027 at 5pm ET .
Select LOI applicants will be invited to submit a full application in June 2027. Grant awards are expected to be announced in September 2027.
To be considered for funding, organizations must meet the following eligibility requirements: Must be a nonprofit with a 501(c)3 tax-exempt status or have a fiscal sponsor that has a 501(c)3 tax-exempt status Must be in operation for at least two years Please note that The Sephardic Foundation on Aging does not support: Political Organizations/Action Groups Multi-year grant proposals We ask all prospective grantees to first submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) through our online application system.
Select LOI applicants will then be invited to submit a full grant application. P lease be sure to use an email address for the account to which the applicant organization will maintain access. We will use Submittable to communicate with applicants and grantees.
