In 2026, up to two Dementia Care Innovation Grants will be funded with up to $110,000 in total costs (including direct and indirect costs) per project.
• Funding to support research and innovation in dementia care services • Support from StARS Center scientists and research staff through virtual meetings, direct consultations, and feedback on interim results and study progress Applications from a range of eligible organizations, including state and local governments, nonprofit organizations, higher education institutions, and tribal governments, are encouraged.
Priority will be given to proposals from organizations engaged in statewide dementia services coordination. Applications from states new to the StARS network are highly encouraged. The leadership team is also available to meet with you and discuss your LOI/proposal.
