Office of Economic and Workforce Development SF Shines Equipment Grant Get help with interior equipment purchases. Learn more Chicago Barber Shop is one of the longest running barber shops in the City and one of the last Black-owned businesses on Divisadero. When the pandemic forced his business to close, owner Rob Harlin used the time to make renovations.
SF Shines reimbursed Harlin for his new, easier to clean flooring. SF Shines is San Francisco’s storefront improvement grant program for small businesses and nonprofits. SF Shines is a program of the Community Economic Development (CED) division of the Office of Economic and Workforce Development.
The program provides grants, design services, and project management for property improvements. The goal of the program is to help small businesses thrive and create vibrant neighborhood commercial corridors. ADA Barrier Removal Grant
