This initiative provides funding, resources, and guidance to maximize each community’s potential, driving economic growth throughout the state. The Destination Development Program utilizes a tiered system to assess current county structures and identify areas for improvement.
WOT provides tailored support based on these tiers, empowering communities to reach their full potential. Initiatives can be implemented statewide, by county, or through collaborative partnerships between counties. By fostering local participation and engagement, this ground-up approach ensures that communities are actively involved in shaping their tourism development strategies.
