Detroit Leads Safe Application (English) Detroit Leads Safe Application (Spanish) Detroit Leads Safe Application (Arabic) Michigan Lead Safe Home Program This program is available to homeowners, landlords and renters and includes: To qualify you must meet all criteria in either 1 or 2 There is a child under 19 or a pregnant female enrolled in medicare Your home is in Flint, Detroit, or elsewhere if child under 19 has a lead level of 5 or higher A child under 6 or a pregnant female living in the home Home is in Genesee, Jackson, Kalamazoo Kent, Macomb, Oakland Saginaw counties or City of Detroit or elsewhere if a child under 6 has level of 5 or higher Occupants’ gross income is low to moderate Property taxes are paid up to date Michigan Lead Safe Home Program MDHHS - Lead Abatement Application Michigan Saves Lead Poising Prevention Fund If you do not meet qualifications for the two above programs, this fund fills a critical gap for homeowners and income property owners who don’t qualify for the free Detroit or MDHHS lead abatement services.
