We also coordinate activities related to rural health care within the Department of Health and Human Services and have the department-wide responsibility for analyzing the possible effects of policy on residents of rural communities. * Strengthen health networks. * Enhance health care delivery in rural communities.

Our community-based grant programs address these and increase access to care. * ### Rural Hospital Programs We provide technical assistance and support to rural hospitals. * ### Rural Health Research and Policy Programs We support the Rural Health Research Centers program.
