DIGITAL-2026-AI-09-AUTOMOTIVE – Collaboration platform for the European connected and autonomous vehicle of the future The DIGITAL-2026-AI-09-AUTOMOTIVE call of the Digital Europe Programme funds a European platform to advance connected and autonomous vehicles and accelerate the digital transformation of the automotive sector through software and artificial intelligence.
This call aims to support large‑scale industrial collaboration for the joint development of key digital technologies in automotive. The action focuses on the software‑defined vehicle, including software platforms, embedded computing architectures, advanced AI solutions, large‑scale distributed pilots and autonomous‑driving technologies.
The collaboration platform will coordinate and align relevant projects and initiatives in software, hardware, AI and autonomous driving at European, national and industrial levels. It will promote common standards and interfaces, facilitate the joint development of largely open solutions and support the incubation, integration and maintenance of shared developments.
The action will also provide a collaborative digital infrastructure enabling efficient management of joint developments, dissemination of results and industrial adoption of generated solutions, laying the foundations for long‑term sustainable, industry‑led European collaboration.
