Digital Citizen Fund | Sponsoring U.S. Girls Robotics Teams to Participate in a FIRST Robotics Competition Sponsoring U.S. Girls Robotics Teams to Participate in a FIRST Robotics Competition The Digital Citizen Fund (DCF) builds the resilience of women and girls worldwide through STEM education, technology, and entrepreneurship.
As the home of the renowned Afghan Girls Robotics Team, DCF is proud to extend its support to women and girls in STEM and robotics in the United States. This grant will sponsor the participation of U.S.-based, rookie teams with all or at least majority-female membership in FIRST Robotics Competitions in the 2025-2026 or 2026-2027 seasons.
To maximize impact and encourage teams’ own fundraising efforts, DCF expects to award up to five grants of $5000 each across both seasons. Please note that a submission does not guarantee funding. To apply for the 2025-2026 season, please fill out the following form by December 19, 2025.
A separate application is required for each eligible team applying. This grant will re-open for applicants for the 2026-2027 on February 2, 2026. Mark your calendars!
