## Capital Projects Fund Progress Progress is based upon the three Capital Projects Fund (CPF) programs. The Capital Projects Fund will address many challenges laid bare by the pandemic, especially in rural America, Tribal communities and low-and-moderate-income communities, helping to ensure that all communities have access to the high-quality modern infrastructure, including broadband, needed to access critical services.
The Capital Projects Fund aims to: Directly support recovery from the COVID-19 public health emergency by strengthening and improving the infrastructure necessary for participation in work, education and health monitoring that will last beyond the pandemic. A key priority of this program is to make funding available for reliable, affordable broadband infrastructure and other digital connectivity technology projects.
Recipients may also use funds for certain other capital projects, such as multi-purpose community facilities, that enable work, education and healthcare monitoring, including remote options. ## Program Guidance, Narratives and Other Documents ## Capital Projects Fund Program Breakdown ## Broadband Infrastructure Program (BIP) The FloridaCommerce Office of Broadband is utilizing funds from the Capital Projects Fund to deploy broadband Internet infrastructure in unserved and underserved areas throughout the state, prioritizing rural areas.
In November 2022, the Office of Broadband received $247,761,206 from the U.S. Treasury for the Capital Projects Fund Broadband Infrastructure Program.
Application Status: Closed ## Multi-Purpose Community Facilities (MPCF) The FloridaCommerce Office of Broadband is utilizing funds from the Capital Projects Fund to renovate or build Multi-Purpose Community Buildings to help provide access and improve resources to the rural communities for health monitoring, work, and education. The Office of Broadband received $86,933,757.

Application Status: Closed ## Digital Connectivity Technology Program (DCTP) The FloridaCommerce Office of Broadband received over 13 million dollars ($13,040,063) from the U.S. Treasury for the Capital Projects Fund - Digital Connectivity Technology Projects program.
The primary objective of this program was to make digital connectivity devices and equipment, such as computers, laptops and tablets, available to qualifying households. A second, but equally critical objective, was to help communities equip Multi-Purpose Community Facilities with the devices necessary to ensure full connectivity throughout the facility.
