Digital Culture Grant Scheme is sponsored by NWO (Dutch Research Council). Supports artistic and experimental projects in the Netherlands that critically explore digital society through research, innovation, and creative practice.

Digital Culture Grant Scheme - Rijkscultuurfondsen Digital Culture Grant Scheme Professional creators, observors, design agencies or cultural institutions working within the field of digital culture. The Creative Industries Fund NL uses the Digital Culture Scheme to support artistic or cultural projects that raise questions about our digital society.

These projects develop alternative perspectives and explore the limits of digital tools, media and technologies. Research, experimentation, critical reflection and innovation are always key to this. For projects needing grants in excess of €10,000 and up to a maximum of €50,000.

The Digital Culture Scheme has a number of funding rounds per year. Take a look at the Creative Industries Fund NL website for deadlines, a comprehensive guide and the official document of the scheme. To apply, you must prepare a project plan, schedule and budget, among other things.

To be eligible to apply to the Digital Culture Scheme you must meet several conditions, such as: You must be registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce or with one of the trade registers in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The project must be run primarily in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, consisting of the Netherlands, Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba. Your project must include a clear design brief or research question arising from digital culture.

nl Open Call Emerging Design Practices ABCSSS Starting designers based in Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, Sint Eustatius or Sint Maarten can register for a pitch day. They present their development plan to a jury and have a chance to receive a grant which they can use to professionalise their practice.

Creative Industries Festivals Grant Scheme Creative Industries Festivals Grant Scheme is for cultural institutions or organizations that organize festivals with a significant public function within the context of the creative industry in the Netherlands or the Caribbean part of the Kingdom, and thus stimulate the development of design, architecture, or digital culture.
