Digital Inclusion Grant City of Fort Collins opens in new tab or window The City offers grants to non-profits to increase and advance digital inclusion. These grants are available to non -profits serving youth, adults and older adults within Fort Collins city limits and the Growth Management Area.

Grant funds must be used to increase or advance: Access to devices and equipment Applications for this grant are closed In the application, you'll be asked to provide: Non-profit 501(c)3 Designation Certificate of Good Standing from the Colorado Secretary of State Organization description and contact information Detailed description and budget of how grant funds would be used, including the target audience Anticipated outcomes of the grant funds and how outcomes would be measured Have a project idea but aren't sure it's eligible?

Eligibility and Focus Areas Non-profits serving youth, adults and older adults within Fort Collins city limits and the Growth Management Area are eligible to apply. Grant funds must be used to increase or advance ac cess to devices and equipment, d igital skilling, c onnectivity or w orkforce development.

Areas of focus considered for this grant: Communicative: Sharing ideas clearly, effectively and creatively with different audiences (adult and youth) following digital communication protocols. Productive : Creating content and/or products using digital tools. Can include creative endeavors such as printers, 3D printers, design software, music or video recording software and equipment or business accounting software.

Technical : Physical navigation and operation of basic and advanced digital tools and skills. Can include classes and quality tech support related to workforce training, educational courses and basic to advanced skills training. Civic : Using digital tools safely, effectively and appropriately.

Can include classes and quality tech support training. Computational Thinking : Using critical thinking and problem-solving skills using technology to gather data, analyze information and find a solution. Can include mapping software, database software, data or surveying software, education and training.
