FY26 Adult Education - Digital Instruction Adult Education - Technology Infrastructure FY26 Adult Education - Digital Instruction The Digital Instruction for Adult Education grant aims to enhance technology infrastructure and instructional capabilities in Title II Adult Education programs throughout Illinois.

A total of $2 million is allocated for the "Digital Instruction for the Adult Education" initiative under the General Revenue Fund.
The grant is designed to enhance technology infrastructure and digital instruction for adult education programs. This funding aims to improve learner access to technology, increase measurable skill gains, and facilitate transitions to postsecondary education or workforce opportunities. No federal funds are involved in this grant, and no cost-sharing or matching is required from applicants.
Indirect costs are capped per Federal regulations Expected Number of Awards Indirect Cost Description Federal regulation limits administrative costs at up to 5% of the total Federal award. Local administrative costs for AEFLA are defined in WIOA Sec 233.
These include indirect cost and several direct costs for planning, administration (including performance and accountability), professional development, activities in alignment with local workforce plans, and supporting one-stop operations. These in aggregate cannot exceed 5%.
