The Diocese of Colorado Springs is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. EIN: 84-0936629 All gifts (cash and check) intended for year-end giving must be received by the Diocese of Colorado Springs or postmarked by December 31. Gifts received after this date will receive the following year tax credit.

Many companies have a matching gift program for charity and educational purposes.

Through the Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of Colorado Springs, you can add to an existing fund or create a new named permanent endowment fund. Your gift will both be immediate and long-term because donations are invested following Catholic social teaching guidelines.
A portion of the annual income from the investment is used to address immediate needs in the parishes, schools, and other ministries you designate. The remaining funds are reinvested to ensure indefinite support. Thus with and endowment, your gift will keep giving perpetually.
