Direct Relief Partnership Network

ReplenishRx is a program from Direct Relief that funds access to donated medications for uninsured and low-income patients at nonprofit health centers, free and charitable clinics, and charitable pharmacies. The program provides a consistent supply of medicines donated by leading biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and healthcare companies, eliminating the need for individual patient assistance program applications and enabling faster access to needed treatments. Eligible facilities must be registered nonprofits that provide health care regardless of patients' ability to pay — including Federally Qualified Health Centers and FQHC look-alikes — and must maintain proper drug dispensing controls, patient eligibility screening, and dispensing records retained for at least six years. Facilities must have a licensed medical director and consent to periodic program audits. There is no specified cash award amount or application deadline.

Clean Rivers Impervious Area Charge (CRIAC) Nonprofit Relief Program is sponsored by District of Columbia Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE). This program provides financial relief to eligible nonprofit organizations facing hardship with the payment of their Clean Rivers Impervious Area Charge (CRIAC). To qualify, organizations must also complete a stormwater mitigation project by installing green infrastructure on their property or elsewhere in the District. While not a direct program grant for arboretum operations, it could offer significant financial relief and support for stormwater management projects that enhance the arboretum's environmental impact.

The Kroger Co. Foundation Community Grants program, established in 1987, directs charitable funds to local nonprofit organizations building stronger communities and addressing hunger. Kroger channels more than $300 million annually to communities through corporate giving and its two foundations. The Foundation supports hunger relief, disaster response, and community strengthening initiatives. Through its Zero Hunger | Zero Waste plan, Kroger has donated more than 3.9 billion meals since 2017, including 815 million pounds of rescued surplus food and $1.8 billion in charitable donations to local hunger relief agencies. The Kroger Co. Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Foundation, a public charity established in 2018, additionally funds organizations innovating within the food system. Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations serving Kroger communities.
