While the DSGP has historically supported a broad range of essential services, the scope of the program has been narrowed in 2026 to respond to an unprecedented level of need for food and shelter in Maine communities, as well as significant reductions in federal and state resources. The 2026 Direct Services Grant Program (DSGP) will open for applications on Monday, June 1.
