More information about Division 18 (Psychologists in Public Service) APF encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds with respect to age, race, color, religion, creed, nationality, ability, sexual orientation, gender, and geography. be a member of APA Division 18 at the time of application submission be early career psychologists (no more than 10 years postdoctoral) OR current students in a doctoral-level psychology program.

Applicants enrolled in a terminal master’s-level program are not eligible agree that, if awarded a grant, they will present their work through a Division 18 webinar or convention/professional meeting, or write a Division 18 newsletter article includes dissemination & publication plan detailed budget and justification Components of the project proposal: goals, relevant background/literature review methods (must be detailed enough so that the design, assessments, and procedures can be evaluated), statistics & data analysis plan anticipated outcomes, significance and impact dissemination & publication plan (an example of a dissemination method is presenting at a conference) (please be sure your plan includes strategies that target the APA Division 18 membership or audience, strategies can also include dissemination and/or publication beyond APA Division 18) Applications will be evaluated on: innovation, originality, & contribution to the field empirical soundness of proposal dissemination and publication plan relevance to APA Division 18 Please be advised that APF does not provide feedback to applicants on their proposals.
