Domestic Violence Grant Program Domestic Violence Grant Program The Prince George’s County Council, committed to ending domestic violence and abuse in the County, has appropriated $500,000 in FY 2027 for the ninth round of grant funding through the Council’s Domestic Violence Grant Program.
The Prince George’s County Council Domestic Violence Grant Program is designed to provide funding to support a range of community needs and strengthen services for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.
Eligible service areas may include, but are not limited to, housing stability, access to services, economic security, prevention and education, counseling and mental health services, and advocacy and legal services for victims of domestic violence. Funding may also support activities that advance prevention through a coordinated and collaborative community response.
The program seeks to strengthen services, enhance prevention efforts, improve access to critical resources, and improve outcomes for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. The FY 2027 Domestic Violence Grant Program application window is currently open. Applications must be submitted through the Grants Management System (GMS) by the deadline of Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
FY 2026 DOMESTIC VIOLENCE GRANT PROGRAM ALLOCATIONS Building Bridges Foundation, Inc. Building Bridges Foundation, Inc. (BBF) will use grant funds to implement Help in Real Time (HIRT), a weekend crisis response and emergency housing program serving survivors of domestic violence in Prince George's County.
Edward Charles Foundation Edward Charles Foundation will use grant funds to provide holistic support to women survivors of domestic violence by addressing three critical and interconnected areas: 1. Emergency Assistance ad Basic Needs; 2. Mental Health and Emotional Recovery; and 3.
Workforce Development and Economic survivors achieve immediate safety and log-term stability through integrated care and empowerment.
La Clínica del Pueblo, Inc. La Clínica del Pueblo, Inc. will use grant funds to support the Entre Amigas Program to screen, advocate for, and guide 30 unique Latina survivors of domestic violence to essential legal and social support services, and additional resources based on each client's individual needs.
Luminis Health, Inc., (Luminis Health Doctors Community Medical Center) Luminis Health, Inc., (Luminis Health Doctors Community Medical Center) will use grant funds to support the position of a Domestic Violence Program Coordinator.

Prince George's County Police Athletic League, Inc is a fiscal sponsor and is partnering with the Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD) and will use grant funds to launch a county-wide campaign initiative leveraging broadcast and digital media to educate residents of all ages about the warning signs of domestic violence, promote healthy relationships, encourage early intervention, and connect victims and their families with critical support services.
Sasha Bruce Youthwork, Inc. Sasha Bruce Youthwork, Inc. will use grant funds to serve up to 35 youth receiving intensive services such as case management, counseling, and group support. By embedding DV response into existing homelessness programs, SBY will ensure that young survivors in Prince George's County have access to safety, healing and long-term stability.
