All applications must be submitted through the Dr. Scholl Foundation portal. We do not accept applications through any other method (e.g., mail, email, etc.). All application requests are acknowledged by email.
APPLICATION PROCESS (New timeline dates to be announced here soon.) The application process contains two steps: Step 1: Applicants may submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) through the Dr. Scholl Foundation portal. LOIs are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Applicants must complete a LOI each cycle regardless of previous funding. Step 2: If an applicant’s LOI is approved, they will be invited to submit a grant application through the application portal. Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible after an LOI is approved.
All applicants are notified of funding decisions in October and the grant awards are disbursed in November. CURRENT APPLICATION TIMELINES: For those seeking to receive funding in Q4 2027, the 2027 Grant cycle will open on January 1, 2027. Please note the following deadlines: Letters of Inquiry (LOIs) will be accepted through the application portal beginning January 1, 2027 through January 31, 2027, 11:59 p.
m. CT. If the LOI is approved, applications must be submitted through the portal by March 31, 2027, 11:59 p.
