Priority will be provided to public high schools where at least 40% of the registered students are eligible for the federal free or reduced-price meal program or for a nonprofit organization working to offer a driver education course in a public high school where at least 40% of the registered students are eligible for the federal free or reduced-price meal program.

The total funding amount available for the Driver Education in Public High Schools Grant Program is $2 million. Estimated Number of Grants Customer Service Support Sessions MSDE will hold a customer service support session for interested applicants. During this session, MSDE personnel will provide an overview of the application process.
Wednesday, May 28, 2025 - Session 1 Additionally, MSDE will have two assigned virtual office hours sessions for LEAs to ask questions about the grant application process.
