Electric Vehicle Emerging Technology Fund | DTE Energy Electric Vehicle Emerging Technology Fund Grant Opportunities: Electrifying the Future Together We’re committed to reducing barriers to electric vehicles, preparing for increased EV adoption, and supporting the future of mobility.
We are looking to sponsor with EV-related organizations with similar goals through our Emerging Technology Fund, a DTE program that financially supports novel EV solutions.
Our mission is to support solutions that: Enable greater EV grid integration Break down barriers to EV adoption (including engaging underserved communities) Provide other electrification enhancement opportunities that benefit DTE customers Ready to turn your electric mobility idea into reality? Ribbon cutting for it's electric in 2025 Ready to turn your electric mobility idea into reality?
We're actively seeking visionary collaborators through our Emerging Technology Fund. Have something bold, sustainable, and future-facing? We want to hear it.
Even if your idea doesn’t fit neatly into the categories described above, we’re open to creative concepts that drive meaningful EV adoption. Apply today and help us create a more efficient, electric tomorrow. DTE’s Emerging Technology Fund grant sponsorship awards ranged from $10,000 to $275,000.
Since 2023, prior award recipients include: DTE works with external electrification partners to form our grant committee. These organizations are integral to the selection process.
