Duffield Boost Grants is sponsored by Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation. Unrestricted grants for nonprofit community veterinary care providers nationwide, part of the 'Big Bet for Pets' initiative aimed at reducing financial barriers to veterinary care for family pets across the United States.

Boost Grants | Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation One-time, $10,000 grants to support nonprofit clinics that provide free or low-cost veterinary care for family pets. Duffield Boost Grants are our way of introducing our Big Bet for Pets initiative to your nonprofit veterinary clinic or program. We're here to champion and amplify your vital work, and we're excited to help support you!

Use a Boost Grant for any purpose or project directly related to providing free or low-cost care for family pets . We will award 250 Boost Grants through a competitive, rolling application process that is open until December 16 or until the $2. 5 million pool of funds run out .

Because we will evaluate proposals and make grant decisions as we receive applications, we encourage you to apply early. We will evaluate proposals based on: Your organization's experience and future plans for providing affordable veterinary care for family pets.

How clearly your proposal describes how you will use the funds, and how that will help you provide affordable or free veterinary Examples of how you might use these funds: Veterinarian or technician salaries Equipment or technology purchases, upgrades, or repairs "Angel Fund" spending to offer subsidies or no-cost care Adding a free pop-up clinic in your community Translating your clinic’s marketing materials and signage into other languages Or any project or purpose that helps you provide low-cost and/or free veterinary care to family pets Watch Amy Mills, our access to veterinary care champion, explain our Duffield Boost Grants and evaluation criteria in detail.

Your organization is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, a public or government entity (county, municipality), or using a fiscal sponsor that is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization.

Your organization operates a veterinary clinic and provides veterinary care to family/owned pets. (Please note this grant is not for organizations that subsidize or cover the cost of veterinary care provided by third parties or other organizations.) ​ ​ Your organization has been providing low-cost and/or free veterinary services to family pets for at least one year.

Can we use Boost Grants for this? No, as Boost Grants are only for nonprofits that deliver veterinary care themselves through a clinic or events they operate. Can I use a Boost Grant to subsidize discounted or vet care for owned pets?

My organization provides vouchers or grants for free veterinary care in our community, but we don’t provide the veterinary care ourselves. Can we apply? My organization hosts veterinary services in our space, but we don’t provide the veterinary care ourselves.
