This is some text inside of a div block. The Grants Program renewed support for the operation of RPC infrastructure across the Asia-Pacific and European regions, including the provisioning and maintenance of dedicated JSON-RPC endpoints.
These RPC nodes support critical infrastructure for the dYdX Chain through operating dedicated full-nodes of dYdX Chain, Solana, Base, and Ethereum, ensuring reliable access for users, developers, and integrations. As part of the renewal, the RPC footprint was optimized by reducing redundancy while maintaining performance and reliability standards.
This adjustment resulted in cost savings for the Grants Program, improving capital efficiency without compromising operational stability. dYdX Trading Arena Maintenance and Incentives Program Management The Grants Program funded CLC to manage and operate the dYdX Trading Arena, ensuring its reliability, performance, and uptime during trading competitions.
CLC oversees the full lifecycle of trading competitions, including onboarding and coordinating KOLs, supervising competition execution, and managing reward distribution. Competitions are conducted both on the dYdX Trading Arena and in collaboration with ecosystem partners such as Crypto. com and ThorWallet, expanding participation and reach across the ecosystem.
In addition to competitions, CLC supports and operates several community approved incentive programs, including the dYdX Trading League and the dYdX Loss Rebate Program. CLC was also appointed through governance to oversee the dYdX Surge Program in December 2025, consolidating operational ownership of trader-facing incentives under a single contributor.
Validator Responsiveness Grant The community approved to increase the revenue allocated towards the Buy & Stake program on 13 November 2025, which reduced the share towards staking to 15%. The Grants Program introduced a temporary Validator Responsiveness Grant. Under this program, eligible dYdX Chain validators can receive up to $1,000 per month, subject to meeting defined operational and service-level requirements (SLAs).
These requirements include metrics such as missed block rates, response times, and other performance indicators, which are monitored on an ongoing basis to determine payout eligibility. To date, the Grants Program has onboarded 20 validators who have opted into the program.
Order Entry Gateway Service (OEGS) Bare Metal The grant funded to operate the Order Entry Gateway Service (OEGS) on bare metal infrastructure, providing a load-balanced set of high-performance nodes that support low-latency order entry for traders. The previous OEGS deployment was hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Following an evaluation by the Grants Program, OEGS was migrated to bare metal servers, reducing operating costs materially. Since deployment, the bare metal OEGS operated by Kingnodes has consistently demonstrated best-in-class uptime and low latency, strengthening the performance and reliability for traders.
ArbitrageScanner dYdX Integration The grant funded the integration and ongoing maintenance, and operational continuity for the dYdX Chain support within the Arbitrage Scanner product and dashboard on a perpetual basis. Arbitrage Scanner provides continuous monitoring of arbitrage opportunities across spot-futures, futures-futures, and futures-spot markets, as well as real-time tracking of funding rates.

This grant funds Margined to open-source their Locust vault framework—a tool that enables third parties to permissionlessly attract capital (via vault deposits) and subsequently manage the execution of a variety of strategies on dYdX. The vault contracts will reside on other Cosmos chains, such as Osmosis, and use a combination of Authz and Interchain Accounts to let executors (i.e., strategy managers) operate their strategies on dYdX.
This grant will fund a strategic partnership between dYdX and Cointelegraph designed to drive awareness and engagement around dYdX’s most important product and ecosystem updates. dYdX Chain Integration on Token Terminal Token Terminal is a leading onchain data platform providing access to key protocol metrics and financial analysis.
The platform is popular among researchers, analysts, and investors as a source of information for crypto protocols. At the moment, the platform does not have support for the dYdX Chain (it did have services for dYdX v3).
In their Treasury SubDAO proposal, Karpatkey contemplated operationalising the deployment of a portion of the USDC accumulated through the staking program towards buybacks of the DYDX token in the open market, followed by staking of such tokens. The idea is that such an initiative could return value generated by the dYdX network to holders of the DYDX token by reducing the token’s circulating supply.
This grant funds a brand awareness campaign in partnership with Kaito’s Yapper Leaderboard to increase visibility and engagement for dYdX. The campaign incentivizes Twitter users to participate in high-quality discussions about dYdX, earning Kaito Yaps and DYDX rewards. dYdX will receive a dedicated ‘post-TGE’ community leaderboard which tracks and scores twitter activity related to the protocol.
As part of this leaderboard, the DEP will be hosting a 3 month community competition to reward users for their participation with $50k USDC distributed across the top 50 or so yappers for three months. BeInCrypto Media Campaign Liquidation Alerting Tool This grant will fund the development and maintenance of a frontend tool supporting alert subscriptions for liquidation and deleveraging risks on user positions.

CoinMetrics dYdX Integration Objective: Onboard dYdX v4 as a new exchange on the Coin Metrics platform by delivering comprehensive metrics, including metadata, trades, books, funding rate, and open interest. Additionally, CoinMetrics will develop candles and volume metrics, ensuring dYdX data aligns with centralized derivatives exchange data for institutional and community users.
New Market Listing Assignment This grant will fund the proactive testing and launching of new markets on the dYdX Chain, promoting protocol growth and trading activity with timely market listings. As of today, any market supported by the Market Mapper can be listed permissionless by the community. However, this process does require committing 10,000 USDC to the MegaVault with a 30 day lockup period.
This requirement guarantees that liquidity will be available on the new market, while also minimizing the likelihood of spam listings. We suspect that this deposit requirement may be reducing the velocity with which new markets can be listed on the protocol.
Lattice Research Cayman, Inc. This grant retroactively funds the buildout and support of dYdX Chain functionality on Range’s innovative explorer platform, and provides funding for 12 months of ongoing support and updates for the explorer. dYdX MEV Committee (2025 Extension) This grant will extend the existing MEV Committee for an additional six months, following the completion of its second six month term.
This past term was led by Jordi, who was largely responsible for all the monitoring, reviewing, and reporting shared with the community. Overall, the committee continues to be a productive resource for the community, with multiple instances of validator misperformance and potential misbehavior having been identified.
The existence of the MEV Committee, and the regular reporting of even minor issues found among validators, also serves as an important deterrent to future malicious activity. Mintscan: Advanced Support Renewal This grant will renew funding for the ongoing and additional feature support of advanced dYdX functionality on Mintscan's mainnet and testnet explorer for an additional 12 months.
These monthly payments will cover the costs of all the technical requirements and manpower needed to support the explorer along with any minor ad-hoc feature requests made by relevant stakeholders and contributors. Organized by Oxford graduates with deep blockchain ecosystem experience, ETH Oxford is a 500-person hackathon offering dYdX a strategic opportunity to engage with highly skilled builders from across Europe.

Trading Competition Board This grant will fund the development and maintenance of a dYdX trading competition platform to be used by KOLs and community leaders for promotional purposes.
Trading competitions are among the most popular methods of attracting new users to a trading venue. By offering users rewards for their participation and trading profits, we are hoping to increase user onboarding and overall promotional awareness of the dYdX exchange. dYdX Chain Market Data Integration This grant will fund the support of dYdX market price feeds on the TradingView platform.
TradingView is the leading provider of market price feeds, which traders use to monitor market activity and construct trading strategies. The platform is popular among both institutional firms and retail traders alike. This grant will fund the support of DYDX and the dYdX Chain on the Fireblocks platform.
Fireblocks is the leading institutional wallet provider, used as the primary wallet among all the largest institutions in the space. Market makers, institutional funds, exchanges, settlement platforms and more all use Fireblocks as their primary settlement platform. By continuing to support the dYdX Chain, we ensure that institutions gain access to the protocol within their preferred settlement and custodial environment.
This improves adoption and usability of the dYdX chain among institutions. This grant will fund the maintenance and expansion of our existing data services with Numia, the leading provider for all dYdX protocol related data.
Affiliate Program - VIP Initiative This grant will support development and management of the dYdX VIP Affiliate program, an addition to the in-protocol affiliate system for attracting larger KOLs and institutional partners. The program will allow qualified VIP affiliates to earn up to 50% of referred user taker fees, with a maximum of $10,000 per referral per 30-day rolling period.
The increased referral fee is expected to attract industry-leading affiliates, including institutional partners and influential KOLs. This should result in a substantial increase in daily active users, trading volume, and dYdX marketing growth.
Bankless Podcast Sponsorship and Media Blitz This proposal seeks approval for a combination of podcast sponsorship and a 7-Day Media Blitz on Bankless to maximize the visibility and awareness of the upcoming launch of dYdX Unlimited. The sponsorship and media blitz will allow us to reach a highly targeted and engaged audience of crypto traders, DeFi enthusiasts, and early adopters, ensuring a high-impact launch for dYdX Unlimited.
Video Production for dYdX Educational Content This grant funds a freelance video producer to create educational and promotional content for dYdX over a six-month period. The project aims to produce in-depth tutorials and short-form promotional clips to educate users on dYdX platform features, promote dYdX Unlimited, and serve as resources for onboarding new users.
dYdX Unlimited Launch Incentives Program Chaos Labs has led both the original 6 month launch incentives program and the 3 month launch incentives renewal program. The two programs have been successful in helping to bootstrap the dYdX chain and ensure trader retention, with a weekly trader retention rate ranging from 50-80% during this time.
dYdX Trustless Data Archiving This grant serves to integrate KYVE’s permanent, decentralized data storage and accessibility solutions into the dYdX ecosystem for an initial 6 months. By doing so, it will eliminate the need for costly archival nodes and mitigate the risks of data loss or accessibility issues.
This grant will fund the appointment of Gauntlet as the operator responsible for ensuring the success of the upcoming Megavault product launch.
dYdX Diligence Reports Marketing This grant will fund the distribution of promotional content by the Revelo Intel platform, including an up-to-date in-depth breakdown of the dYdX v4 protocol and eight installments of a newsletter campaign, with the goal of attracting more participants to the protocol.
Affiliate Program Frontends This grant will support the launch of a dYdX affiliate program following protocol development to add support for fee redistribution to affiliates, which is set to launch with dYdX Unlimited. The scope of work involves building out the necessary frontend integration and data engineering to support affiliates. Fracton Ventures is hosting DAO TOKYO 2024, a two-day community-driven event in Tokyo.

Korean Speaking Community Manager (Renewal) Jihoon Yi is experienced in Web3 community management and business development.
Jihoon natively speaks Korean and has full professional fluency in English and Japanese. The Korean speaking community manager will oversee growth in the region, facilitating two dYdX Korean Telegram channels, developing unique content, organizing monthly community calls with KOLs from Korean trading communities, analyze and report on key topics, and provide concise reporting to the dYdX Ecosystem Development Program.
Validator Tools Ongoing Support This grant funds Silk Nodes to continue support for their validator tools discord bot and web tooling suite. Validator Tools is a comprehensive suite of products and services including validator alerts, chain snapshots, node setup and upgrade guides, governance proposal alerts, and more.
Validators can join the dYdX discord (or add the bot to their own server) to receive custom alerts on their own uptime status, ensuring that they are immediately alerted in the event that their node goes down. The tool also informs validators of impending upgrades, minimizing chain downtime during an upgrade.
This grant will fund the deployment and ongoing maintenance of a custom ‘Gateway’ node, with the goal of improving order execution for more sophisticated traders. This grant will fund the deployment and ongoing maintenance of a custom ‘Connectivity’ node, with the goal of supporting advanced bandwidth and network connectivity on the dYdX chain.
After launching the latest major upgrade, dYdX has seen a degradation in network performance and block production speeds (currently at 1. 1 seconds, it used to be under 1 second). Our goal is to improve this connectivity issue by introducing an additional networking layer that improves gossiping and consensus across the majority of validators.
The node will run specialized software meant exclusively for relaying messaging and improve the propagation of orders among validators. Validators will peer persistently with this node, guaranteeing that they always receive and send the latest chain updates. This grant will fund the integration and ongoing support of the dYdX v4 chain on Bitget, a leading centralized exchange with growing volumes and users.
The support will include dYdX Chain deposits, withdrawals, trading, and staking. Bitget have partnered with Kiln, an active validator on the dYdX Chain, to offer their users in-exchange staking capabilities. This grant will fund the development of a Rust trading client API for dYdX V4, which will have full feature parity with all the existing trading clients (Python and Typescript).
The grant also includes six months of support and maintenance, inclusive of minor improvements and bug fixes, but not inclusive of significant functional updates. dYdX Web App + API Indexer Pen Test This grant will fund a full penetration test of the dYdX frontend and indexer codebases, neither of which were formally audited as part of the dYdX v4 launch.
Halborn will run a deep dive on both codebases in an effort to find and disclose any vulnerabilities with these critical pieces of dYdX infrastructure. A report will be shared with the DEP, the DOS, and the dYdX Trading team with recommendations on how to patch any vulnerabilities identified through this exercise.
Share PnL Analysis (Frontend Development) The PnL modal will display the following data: market, PnL %, entry price, oracle, leverage, as well as a QR code that links to the dYdX frontend. We're funding RHINO, Kingnodes, Lavender. Five, and Polkachu to manage a cluster of dedicated Base nodes to allow dYdX to access price feeds on Base.
This grant will fund the renewal of our MEV Committee, launched in December 2023 to help combat malicious activity among the validator set Phantom Wallet Integration This grant will fund the development of a dYdX-specific cosmwasm smart contract to support Elixir market making vaults.
Elixir vaults allow users to deposit capital and earn yield from their native delta neutral market making strategy, which in turn improves the liquidity and overall trading volume of the underlying dYdX markets. Since their vaults are proactively trading and quoting to maintain their strategies, we expect dYdX volumes and orderbook liquidity to grow as users deposit more capital.
Sample Market Maker Library This grant will fund the development and open sourcing of a market maker script for dYdX traders to easily deploy their own strategy. Through this codebase, API-based traders and developers interested in deploying more sophisticated trading strategies can do so much more easily by leveraging standard functions and pre-built modules.
Observatory (including MEV) Dashboard This grant will fund the continued support of the dYdX Observatory Hub and migration of our existing MEV dashboard from its standalone web application (run by Skip) to Observatory (run by RockawayX).
By migrating the dashboard to Observatory, we get the benefit of full-time support by the Rockaway team and additional functionality leveraging the existing in-depth validator data already supported by their platform. Our goal is to provide a more comprehensive overview of all validator activity, including their MEV scores coupled with geographic distribution, technical data, and participation.
Overall, we think the community benefits from a single point of reference for all validator-related data. dYdX Exchange Integration Rage Trade is a multi-chain perp aggregator which offers aggregated liquidity, best routing, and enhanced bridging across multiple chains and markets.
The team has successfully integrated multiple perp trading venues, attracting hundreds of millions in volumes to exchanges through their unique aggregated trading experience. Long-Tail Market Making on dYdX This month concludes our designated market maker for long-tail markets on dYdX. As a reminder, we partnered with both RavenDAO and Velar Technologies to improve the liquidity and spread on longer tail, illiquid markets.
In doing so, we allow traders to execute better trades across more markets, and improve the overall health of the protocol by minimizing volatility and illiquid market manipulation. Launch Incentives Extension The community has voted to extend the existing launch incentives program managed by Chaos Labs for an additional three months (which is equal to two seasons).
The community will allocate another $10M DYDX from the community treasury for rewarding traders and active users of the protocol. Keplr Wallet Trading Integration This grant funds a full integration with Keplr wallet on the dYdX trading application, as well as a retroactive grant for Keplr’s existing dYdX integration.
Upon completion of the scope of work covered by this grant, the Keplr integration will have full feature parity with other wallet integrations on the dYdX exchange (plus the existing staking and governance functionality), with the exception of signature-less trading, which may be implemented later on. This grant will fund the development of an Urbit client for dYdX with one-click install functionality.
The Urbit client will have full feature parity with the dYdX v4 trading site. Solana Nodes for dYdX Testnet This grant will fund Helius to manage two additional dedicated Solana RPC nodes that will allow dYdX testnet validators to access Slinky's Solana price feeds. The location of the nodes will be evenly split between Tokyo and Amsterdam.
dYdX Merch is a long successful program that enables the community to embrace dYdX in their daily lives beyond online and trading circles. Merch provides giveaways and freebies for top trading events and encourages the community to create content and generate word-of-mouth. The six month renewal will sustain these activities and allow for new product development as well as operational refinement.
This grant will fund the development of an open-source copy trading bot for dYdX users to engage in different trading strategies that mirror those of popular, active, and/or profitable dYdX addresses. The bot will screen for active traders, their strategies, their profitability, and overall market participation, which will then be presented to users for opportunities to programmatically copy any trades being placed.
Trading History and Markets Page Frontend Revamp This grant funded Nabla to 1) create an “exportˮ function on the history subpage of the portfolio page, and 2) restyle the markets page on the dYdX frontend. Isaac Telegram Trading Bot On Ethereum, telegram trading bots account for 5% of all trading activity from front-ends. On dYdX chain, this market is (as yet) relatively unexplored.
Integrating with more telegram bot interfaces could open dYdX’s to an untapped audience and significantly increase trading activity. DYDX Market Maker Initiative As dYdX Chain adoption continues to grow, with more exchanges listing the chain through the support of grants, there is now a need for improved liquidity of the underlying token across these exchanges.
This initiative will allow a professional market maker to increase exchange deposits and improve liquidity, which will enable withdrawals and improve the overall trading experience for users looking to transact with DYDX. This grant will fund Helius to manage four dedicated Solana RPC nodes for Slinky, which will allow dYdX to add Solana price feeds. The location of the nodes will be evenly split between Tokyo and Amsterdam.
As part of the move from dYdX's in-protocol oracle mechanism to Slinky (Skip's high-performance oracle solution) this grant will fund four RPC providers to manage a cluster of dedicated Solana RPC nodes that will allow dYdX to access Solana price feeds. This grant will fund the deployment of capital for testing and analysis of the new LP Vaults functionality launching on dYdX.
LP Vaults will allow users to deposit capital for liquidity provisioning on long-tail markets using delta-neutral market making strategies. These vaults may allow users to profit in the long run, and will hopefully contribute towards significantly more liquidity on long-tail markets of dYdX.
Slinky Oracle and Market Mapper Integration This grant will fund the integration, license ownership, and maintenance of Skip’s Slinky sidecar software that will be used to support a new price oracle mechanism and a permissionless market listing system for dYdX. This grant serves to transfer the dYdX Ops SubDAO's existing node provider service agreements to the DEP to further decentralize the dYdX chain infrastructure stack.
The three providers will run the following services as part of the arrangement: five (5) full nodes, two (2) archival nodes, one (1) database download location, one (1) StateSync snapshots location, and one (1) seed node. LATAM Community Initiative This grant will fund the development of a Python trading client for dYdX V4, which will have full feature parity with the existing TypeScript client.
Binance DYDX Listing Support This grant will support the integration of dYdX v4 on Binance, the leading centralized exchange for all trading activity in crypto. Integrating dYdX v4 includes adding support for deposits, withdrawals, and trading the v4 DYDX token. New Market Risk Assessments This grant will fund the assessment of all new market proposals submitted on dYdX v4.
Chaos Labs will independently review all available parameters for the market, including oracles used and liquidity tiers, and put forward recommendations for changes to the proposal as needed. If a proposal is submitted without a forum post, Chaos will create a new thread to share their own thoughts and assessment of the market proposal. All assessments will be done within 24h of the proposal going live or submitted on the forums.
BeInCrypto Media Campaign BeInCrypto is a global crypto media outlet spanning 14 languages and over 7 million unique users monthly across channels.
