E-Commerce Grant - Denison Development Alliance Incentives & Grant Programs E-Commerce Grant A grant program encouraging Denison businesses to improve their digital presence and ability to meet the increasing demand for online shopping, contactless transactions/delivery, and enhance digital marketing and promotion.

The E‐Commerce Grant is a 75% matching grant reimbursement program for e‐commerce fulfillment and marketing that will fund up to $6,000 of an $8,000 project over a period of nine months. Businesses are encouraged to gain their ability to conduct business online and improve their digital reach through a well-functioning website that is E-Commerce capable.

Businesses with an existing website may expand and grow online sales through improved marketing, promotion, and enhanced delivery systems of their products. "Retailers, including restaurants, have quickly discovered the need to serve their customers in a different manner.

The ability to clearly display products and services through a website or App is critical for this unexpected change in shopping routines and for the future economy," said former DDA Chairman Matt Looney. "By offering this matching grant, we believe Denison businesses will be able to expand their business enterprise and reach new customers through marketing and promotion."

Research shows more vibrant digital businesses lead to higher median incomes and stronger communities. The E-Commerce Grant encourages Denison businesses to build and enhance their reach, which will strengthen the City of Denison’s economy and quality of life.

Business owners who apply will be in complete control of which online sales platform they use, which consultants they engage, and which digital advertising option they incorporate. The desired outcome is to become E-Commerce capable and boost sales and increase engagement on your E-Commerce website. Grant recipients are required to submit a monthly report of their costs and expenses for a maximum of nine months.

Reimbursements will be made monthly to the Grant recipient after each qualified monthly submission. Applications are accepted year-round while funding is available.
